Library Holiday Closing
The library will be closed Friday, July 3rd through Sunday July 5th for the holiday. The library will reopen for normal business on Monday, July 6th at 10:00 am. Book/Media drop is open 24/7.

The Weatherford Public Library provides free library services for Weatherford and the Parker County community and informs, enriches, supports, and empowers its citizens by promoting lifelong learning opportunities and a love of reading.

Services We Provide
  • Provide access to a collection of approximately 90,000 items in book, magazine, newspaper, audiobook, sound cassette, compact disc, videocassette, DVD, eBook, eAudiobook, and digital magazine format.
  • Host meetings of community groups and organizations.
  • Provide educational and entertainment programming, including weekly storytimes.
  • Provide free Internet access to the public.
  • Reference desk is available to help answer questions and assist in research.
  • Genealogy department is available to help trace and document ancestry.
