New Pavement Markings on East Park Ave
The Texas Department of Transportation installed new
pavement markings at the intersection of East Park Ave and South Main on
June 2, 2010. There is now a new configuration for eastbound
traffic on East Park Avenue when approaching South Main Street. The left
lane is now left turn only. The right lane is now for right turns and
traffic headed westbound across South Main. This new configuration is in
preparation of the new signaling that will soon be implemented at this
intersection. There will soon be a left turn only signal for east and
westbound traffic and a sign will be installed on the mast arm to notify
drivers.
