Clinics are taught by "Fishings Future's" MasterAnglers

Ages range from 5 to 12, urged to pre-register due to the fact we will reach our maximum participants at 30.

Master Anglers will teach the tools of their trade

Different types of lures, Casting Technique,Types of hooks,Bait, Rods, Reels, Knot Tying and the different types of FISH!

Learn proper boating safety to ensure successful and SAFE fishing trips. Drawing for tons of free fishing gear at the end of the clinic

Possible due to our sponsors, and help from the city there are over 500 10 to 12 inches + trout stocked in our local fishing holes each year

Trout Fishing Laws and Regulations:

Holland Lake is classified as a Community Fishing Lake (CFL) by Texas Parks and Wildlife, therefore fishing methods is by rod and reel only, with a two pole limit per person, no exceptions.

17 years and older must have a valid Texas Freshwater Fishing License, unless born before January 1, 1931.

5 trout bag limit per day

No minimum length

KID FISH - April 1st (9AM to 12PM)

A FREE event, held annually @ Holland Lake Park, with over 300 pounds of catfish stocked for a friendly, family oriented fishing competition.

Fishing gear provided, along with bait.

Bring the family for a fun morning at your local fishing hole for a chance to win great prizes, but for a guaranteed great time
