Since February 1, 2015, the City of Weatherford Water Utilities Department is offering FREE toilet replacements to qualified households. One of the largest water uses inside the home is your toilet. Older toilets on average uses 5 gallons per flush, per person, for a total of 9,125 gallons per person, per year. By replacing these older toilets with high-efficient models, you can save both water and money.
The program offers Glacier Bay high-efficient toilets in standard round and ADA-approved elongated, 1.28 gallons per flush toilets. Package will include seat, wax ring, and floor mounting bolt set.
Must be a water utility customer and in good standing.
Own or rent a home/duplex that was built before 1994 (no apartment complexes or commercial uses). Renters must complete and submit the Landlord Consent Formwith their application.
Agree to install toilet within 30 days from pick-up date and follow proper disposal methods.
Applications are available at the Service Center and customer service at City Hall. You may also apply online or download a copy and mail supporting documentation (i.e. Landlord Consent Form or doctor's authorization for ADA toilets).
Applications are accepted.
If you are approved, you will be notified via email with instructions on pick up. Upon pick-up, you will be required to install the toilet within 30 days of said date. Customers will be responsible of installation and any installation related expenses.
